Diastolic Hypertension is when the bottom number of your blood pressure reading is consistently over 90 (which is your diastolic pressure, the pressure inside blood vessels when the heart is at rest) .Diastolic is referring to the time when the heart is in a period of relaxation and dilatation (expansion).
