Essential Hypertension

• Essential hypertension (also called primary or idiopathic hypertension) is the form of hypertension that by definition has no identifiable cause.

It is the most common type of hypertension, affecting 95% of hypertensive patients. Hypertension can be also related from other elements and because of that it is called secondary hypertension (More about secondary hypertension read here... ).

• The mechanism of regulating blood pressure works like this: kidneys act to restore pressure to normal.

If the pressure goes up, kidneys releases more salt in the water, which is eliminated through urine, to help the volume of the blood to go down. If the pressure has fallen kidneys send less salt in the water which is eliminated, and the volume of blood is increasing. With hypertension this mechanism falls down, and there is the problem.

This primary hypertension is manageable with the basic roles of the healthy life style, which is by itself high blood pressure natural remedy.
